TBEP leverages the resources of program partners and catalyzes action by:

1. Financing cutting-edge research that develops the science around key problems impacting the bay;
2. Sponsoring restoration and management initiatives that embody innovative solutions to address these problems;
3. Creating open science-based analyses and graphics that inform management and policy;
4. Providing “Mini-Grants” to community groups to engage the public in bay restoration and education activities;
5. Developing educational programs and campaigns targeting and informing key segments of the bay community – including educators, boaters and homeowners.
