Boyd Hill Freshwater Wetland Trek and Chat

Do you want to learn about the freshwater wetland restoration project at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve? Join TBEP, SWFWMD, and the City of St. Pete for a guided hike through Boyd Hill Nature Preserve on March 29th from 9am-12pm. During this trek, you’ll have the opportunity to chat with experts about how swapping a deep and degraded ditch for a slow and meandering stream can benefit water quality, wildlife (and people, too!). From pine flatwoods to the open waters of Lake Maggiore; peek-a-boo views of downtown St. Pete to gopher tortoises and wading birds, this event is sure to make you #LoveTampaBay.
