Stormwater Stewardship Month

Join us this May in celebrating Stormwater Stewardship Month in the Tampa Bay region! This month-long campaign is dedicated to educating residents and visitors about stormwater runoff, common sources of pollution, and what we can all do to help.

Be Floridian

Skip the fertilizer from June through September to protect the waterways that make Tampa Bay so special. Clear water, thriving wildlife, and endless outdoor fun all start with the choices you make in your own yard. Whether you have a couple hours or a couple days, find out how you can “Be Floridian” this summer.

Pipe Up

Don’t let sewage make a house call. A lateral sewer line connects a home’s plumbing to the public sewer system, and it’s the owner’s responsibility to maintain it. An old and damaged lateral line could lead to sewage back-ups into your yard and home, turning your biggest asset into a mess of costly repairs. Visit tbep.org/pipeup to learn more about rebates available to help cover the cost of inspecting, repairing, replacing or rehabilitating private lateral sewer lines.

Economic Value of Tampa Bay

The natural resources of Tampa Bay support essential industries such as tourism, mineral extraction, marine transportation, and other commercial and recreational activities. This study values the annual economic impacts, property value premiums, and ecosystem services provided by Tampa Bay and its watershed.

Keep Tampa Bay on the Road to Recovery

Help support bay restoration efforts by purchasing a Tampa Bay Estuary specialty license plate, also known as the Tarpon Tag. Proceeds from sales of the plate directly fund our community-based Bay Mini-Grant program each and every year.
