Golden Mangrove Award

Tampa Bay Estuary Program Bay Mini-Grants Golden Mangrove Award

TBEP's "Golden Mangrove Award" is given annually to recognize the Tampa Bay Estuary Program's most outstanding Bay Mini-Grant of the preceding year. The award winner is selected by members of the Estuary Program's Community Advisory Committee, who review all the eligible grant recipients and visit the top-ranked projects before making a final award selection.

The level of volunteer involvement and the overall environmental benefit of the project are among the criteria used in selecting the winner.
